Engr. Danilo V. Gomez assumed his post as newly installed Acting Regional Manager of NIA Region I in a Turnover Ceremony held at the Covered Court, NIA Regional Office I Compound Brgy. Bayaoas, Urdaneta City Pangasinan today, July 19, 2023.
The ceremony was graced and officiated by Senior Deputy Administrator, Engr. Robert Suguitan.
Outgoing Regional Manager Engr. Gaudencio M. De Vera passed on the NIA Flag as a baton of leadership and humbly accepted by the Incoming Acting Regional Manager.
Engr. Gomez worked as a dedicated Division Manager of La Union Irrigation Management Office since 2021 and made a significant contributions before being appointed as Acting Regional Manager.
Moreover, he also served the Ilocos Norte Irrigation Management Office (INIMO) as Division Manager for almost 10 years.
Engr. De Vera, who served the region for one and half year was reassigned as Regional Manager of NIA Region V.
The turnover of Leadership was attended by NIANs all over Region I, IAs, NIA Central Office Staff, media and others.
Engr. Cynthia Panit, former Senior Engineer A of LUIMO Engineering&Operations Division took over as LUIMO Acting Division Manager.
The assumption of Engr. Gomez was in pursuant to the Office Memorandum No. 133 series of 2023 signed by Acting Administrator, Engr. Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen.
