The Office of Population Commission (PopCom) in Region 1 represented by its Planning Officer IV, Wilma E. Ulpindo facilitated two seminars (batch 1 & 2) for the National Irrigation Administration Regional Office No. 1 held  on October 15 and October 20, 2020 respectively at the agency's training center in Bayaoas, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.

The main objective of the HR-initiated activity is to equip the participants with fundamental knowledge on parenting skills that would redound to a more harmonious and wholesome family relationship.

In his message, Regional Manager Angelito S. Miguel underscored the relevance of effective parenthood which includes responsible family planning for families to cope with today's domestic challenges which are attributable to the pandemic. "One of the reasons why you pursue a career is to fend for your loved ones. But because of hard work and dedication to your job, you end up spending most of your time in your work place than in your homes.As public servants, be reminded that you are also obliged to raise your families responsibly  in order attain success in your profession", Engr. Miguel concluded.
