This activity aims to rehabilitate, protect and manage the irrigation water resources primarily in the buffer zones and immediate channels and tributaries to minimize soil erosion and sedimentation of Bislak river systems affecting the lifespan, efficiency and seviceability of the Irrigation system.
Engr. Gaudencio M. De Vera, Regional Manager and Engr. Weynard Joseph P. Untalan, Division Manager of NIA-INIMO together with the Regional Executive Director of DENR Ilocos Region, Atty. Crizaldy M. Barcelo, CESO III, Forester Victor C. Dabalos and Hon. Richard A. Degala, Mayor of Municipality of Vintar officially signed the Memorandum of Agreement.
The signing is a noble partnership of NIA, DENR, LGU of Vintar for the future generations.
