Tayug, Pangasinan - “When it rains, it pours.”  In upbeat mood, this must be the slogan of the day  for farm folks representing 22 Irrigators Associations (IAs) as they went home richer by 209, 270.25 Php. The cash incentive was for their outstanding performance based on their respective List of Irrigated Planted Area (LIPA) for wet crop 2017.

In line with its 2018 Communication Plan (ComPlan), NIA RO1 embarks on media engagement seminar intended to capacitate managers and front line personnel to effectively deal with the media personalities.  

NIA R01 sponsored the first Pangasinan IA Congress in celebration of the 2nd Umaani Expo, a brainchild project of Governor Amado “Pogi” I. Espino, III in support to the agro-industrial development thrust of the provincial administration. The 9-day long event started on March 15 at the Provincial Nursery here.
